About Dr. Walker
Dr. John Walker, O.D. a Northern California native, is originally from the village of Mendocino, California. He received his undergraduate education at Sonoma and Humboldt State Universities. Dr. Walker graduated from Southern California College of Optometry with both a B.S. degree in Visual Science, and his Doctor of Optometry ( O.D. ) degree. There, he received awards for outstanding performance in research and ophthalmic dispensing.
Dr. Walker has worked in the optometry field for more than twenty years, entering his second decade as a Doctor of Optometry. Initially, he operated a private practice in his hometown of Mendocino before relocating to Windsor in 1999, where he is in private practice.
In his spare time, he and his wife, Nga, participate in charity by delivering food to families in need in Sonoma County.

We make every effort to keep our fees as competitive as possible. Examination fees, insurance co-payments and deductibles are due and payable in full at the time of your visit. Payment may be made by cash, local check( with proof of ID ), or Mastercard/Visa. No deferred patient billing is done by this office. If glasses or contact lenses are ordered, a minimum of 50% of the balance must be paid at the time of ordering, with the remaining balance to be paid when materials are dispensed. Full payment is required when same day service is provided. Any other payment arrangements must be discussed in advance.
